Joseph Torie

Jospeh Torie has been writing for decades as a travel writer and author while living and working in Europe, Asia and Africa.

About two decades ago, Torie stopped face-to-face meetings and lectures and started organizing his notes and articles into publications. Most of the books he has written are attempts to share in print what he used to teach and share in person.

Most of his books about Jesus and spirituality are offered as free to download in ebook format. Torie considers that what he has received freely should be shared freely.

The author neither belongs, nor identifies himself, nor is associated with any Christian organization or denomination, nor tries to defend or attack any of them, nor this or that school of theology. Instead, he aims to follow Jesus through His words, which are His Spirit, as Jesus said to His disciples, “… the words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are Life” (John 6: 63) and as the apostle Peter answered, when Jesus asked His twelve disciples, “Will you also go away? … Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life” (John 6: 67 and 68).

Joseph Torie, Jesus on Spirituality

Jesus on Spirituality

Jesus said, “… Verily I say unto you, Except you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 18: 3 and 4). Thus, spirituality and being as one of the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven couldn’t be as difficult as it is generally assumed.

Joseph Torie, Jesus Indeed

Jesus Indeed – What Jesus Said about Eternal Life and Salvation

Jesus Indeed focuses on the words of Jesus, as recorded in the gospels. The book tackles the difference between grace and promised rewards for good deeds.

It discusses the Saved and the Blessed and how both — according to the gospels — will receive eternal life, the former in Heaven and the latter in the future New Earth. The Blessed includes the Meek, the Merciful and others mentioned in the gospels.

Joseph Torie, Freedom in God's Spirit

Freedom in God’s Spirit

Is sex good or bad, and why did God create it?

Are women spiritually inferior to men or there is no difference between male and female through Jesus?

Were the Bible heroes perfect and sinless or they also made some terrible mistakes?

And why does scripture tells us about those mistakes?

Read about these subjects and much more in Freedom in God’s Spirit.

Joseph Torie, Talk With Jesus

Talk With Jesus

We can learn to talk, listen to and understand Jesus’ voice just as we learned to understand our parents’ voice.

Wouldn’t it be strange if the Creator of everything couldn’t talk? Or couldn’t hear?

Thankfully, the Lord is neither deaf nor dumb and wants to talk with us! In fact — as most parents do — He can hardly wait until we are able to chat with Him.

Find out how to in Talk With Jesus.

Joseph Torie, Galaxies For Intelligently Designed

Galaxies for Intelligently Designed Minds – Not for Standard Model Dummies

Galaxies Intelligently designed book, pioneering view of solar system, spiral galaxies and black holes, exposing critical weaknesses of the Standard Model of cosmology.

Galaxies for Intelligently Designed Minds… lambasts the ‘Standard’ Model of Cosmology, as well as the western scientific establishment and its goals, which is a hallmark of Torie’s work in the last couple years.

In addition, it offers an unmatched and highly original possible explanation of the way the solar system and spiral galaxies could work, describing intelligent mechanisms and organization, which could change completely the way we understand the universe.

The book proposes that the ‘force’ of gravity is not necessary to reach the gravitational balance we observe in the universe, making redundant with it the need for any expansion, inflation or dark matter. It also does away with the constant speed of light and the homogeneous and isotropic nature of space while offering a highly intelligent explanation of gravitational waves, black holes, Quasars and the nature of space. This unusual book could become both a source of contention, opposition and disagreement as well as a milestone in astronomy, cosmology and physics, although Torie is not a scientist, but an independent Christian thinker and a social critic.

Galaxies for Intelligently Designed Minds… consolidates the ideas put forth by the author in his two previous books about the subject. This is Torie as his best, or many will argue at his worse! A book worth reading and of careful consideration!
