We provide clear, written agreements for every project. We make no “inflated promises” regarding sales or outcomes and ensure that authors understand exactly what services are being provided, the costs involved, and the timeline for delivery.
2. Rights & Ownership
We believe authors should retain as much control and ownership of their intellectual property as possible.
- Non-Exclusive Options: Whenever possible, we offer non-exclusive arrangements.
- Reversion of Rights: Our contracts include clear “out” clauses and rights reversion terms if a book goes out of print or performance milestones are not met.
- File Ownership: Authors have a right to the final production files of their work upon the fulfillment of contract terms.
3. Ethical Financials
- No Hidden Fees: All costs are disclosed upfront. We do not charge “predatory” fees or hide markups in third-party services like printing or distribution.
- Timely Royalties: We provide transparent royalty reporting and ensure payments are made on the schedule agreed upon in the contract.
4. Communication & Accountability
We treat our authors as peers, not just “content creators.” We maintain open lines of communication throughout the editing, design, and distribution process, ensuring the author is a participant in every major creative decision.
5. AI & Technology
In line with our commitment to human creativity, we utilize technology—including AI—only as a tool for efficiency (such as administrative tasks or local data management) and never to replace the core creative voice of the author
